AppsFlyer in Austin at SXSW
SXSW Interactive in Austin has become a yearly destination for startups, brand marketers and creatives looking to break out of their normal routine. Trying out new concepts that wouldn’t fly anywhere else have a chance to materialize amongst the organized chaos of SXSW.
The AppsFlyer agenda while in Austin consisted mostly of visiting hometown customers, participating on partner panels, sharing the AppsFlyer solution for agencies, hanging with tech journalists, and attending a host of parties. Highlights definitely included a robot petting zoo and Meerkat Madness.
Joining the Localytics Feed Your App event on Understanding Your Valuable Users Panel, AppsFlyer helped a sunny crowd with cocktails in hand, emphasize the importance of downstream in-app event metrics for understanding mobile usage.
Samsung was on hand with the Samsung Lounge featuring gadgets and the duo Stash and rolling with the #GalaxyLife Milk Music truck handing out free Milk & Cookies.
Saturday morning kicked off with breakfast with the Gaming Insider forum Meetup in Austin. AppsFlyer has been enjoying sharing and learning from industry Gaming Insider leaders and it was fun to finally put faces to names.
Post SXSW I’m still ruminating on conversations had at the Facebook lounge in Austin. Meeting journalists galore and content creators from around the world, many partner companies hosted phenomenal events for facilitating genuine exchange of expertise. I must also thank mobile focused startup if(we) for the ride from the Airport kicking off fun SXSW.
