General Data Protection Regulation | AppsFlyer

GDPR

What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation is a European Union initiative looking to moderate the collection and usage of personal data of identifiable citizens within the EU. Legally required to protect their user data, companies are also required to enable users to control, monitor and delete personal information at will.

Why AppsFlyer:

To address and manage requests from data subjects, to comply with GDPR, AppsFlyer, with mParticle, Amplitude, and Braze, initiated the OpenGDPR protocol.

OpenGDPR is a unified, open-source framework, facilitating cooperation between technology companies for the fair and transparent use of consumer data. It enables vendors to easily take data privacy actions across multiple systems that process and store customer data.
