What is Reconciliation?
The process of taking back funds from a media partner for activity attributed to the partner after it being identified as fraudulent.
Why is This Important:
As much as we’d like for it to be true, not all fraud is caught in real-time. A look back and analysis across a partner’s traffic is required in order to identify cases of fraud not originally blocked (could be due to a new fraudulent pattern) and avoid payment for such traffic.
The first to streamline the reconciliation process by introducing the post attribution fraud detection tool, Protect360 constantly looks back at traffic to identify patterns as they materialize- blocking them in retrospect when real-time indicators didn’t manage to do so- making the marketer’s job a much easier one, leaving very little room for doubt.
