Marketing Communications Manager, India

As AppsFlyer grows in Asia and throughout the world, we’re looking for a passionate marketer who is a jack of all trades. We are seeking a talented, dynamic and highly motivated Marketing Manager to support and execute cross-channel marketing and communications initiatives across India.

The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for driving AppsFlyer’s brand & performance throughout India, as well as developing and executing engagement strategies that attract new audiences and support our current customer base. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing and have the ability to work at both the strategic and tactical level: generating creative ideas for growth and executing best-in-class marketing campaigns, analyzing data and solving problems.

  • Execute against marketing plans to drive the business goals of India market, on a communications and brand marketing level; collaborate across all necessary functions, including Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Global Marketing Teams
  • Take a leading role with production of unique hosted events in India from beginning to end, including ideation, logistics, budget, partner coordination, vendor selection, branding, documentation, and follow-up
  • Analyze performance of marketing programs – events, content, email, PR and other campaign metrics to inform marketing decisions. Prepare and distribute reports on campaign performance to management
  • Manage a broad range of proactive and reactive communications projects, and work cross-functionally with marketing, product and leadership teams on PR and thought leadership programs
  • Work closely with internal local and global leadership and external PR agency to ensure positioning and messages are conveyed effectively and consistently across channels – and reflect the organization’s strategic vision
  • Identify and leverage co-marketing opportunities with key influencers, organizations, partners, clients, analysts and other stakeholders in order to position AppsFlyer as the go-to solution for marketers and mobile developers throughout India.
  • Constantly evaluate and optimize marketing initiatives in order to achieve maximum impact with limited effort & resources

Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills balanced with both a creative and analytical focus
  • 3+ years of communications, PR and marketing experience at a B2B SaaS technology company or agency – ideally with a focus on the mobile app ecosystem
  • Experience building communications plans and leading public relations programs in India
  • Proven track record of securing prominent press placements through innovative, proactive media relations, co-marketing efforts and thought leadership initiatives
  • English native speaker with exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into easy-to-understand language for a range of audiences
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, start-up environment, think quickly, strategically and creatively to meet tight deadlines; strong multitasking capabilities
  • Solid understanding of relevant industry media and the ability to build and grow relationships with reporters, bloggers and influencers
  • Familiarity with mobile app industry events, awards and speaking programs – and how to both garner and leverage those opportunities
  • Understanding of market trends and always up-to-date on the latest news and developments impacting the mobile app ecosystem
  • Proficiency with traditional, digital and social media monitoring tools
  • B.A. degree or higher in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field

Preferred Qualifications
  • Established relationships with writers/editors/influencers at relevant mobile app industry trade publications, blogs and beat reporters at mainstream media outlets
  • Previous work experience at a PR agency
  • Familiarity with an array of B2B marketing strategies and programs
