Server-Based Fraud (Simulated Devices)

What is Server Based Fraud?

Many mobile ad fraudsters utilize simulations – simulated devices running off a central server – to generate fraudulent impressions, clicks, installs and even in-app engagement. Some fraudsters will even create deep device metadata profiles in an attempt to make simulated devices appear real.

Why AppsFlyer:

Protect360 applies a number of tools that help protect you against simulated devices including IP blacklisting, DeviceID blacklisting, install validation, using a secure, post-compilation SDK and more.
